The modern wine cellar of Viña Estampa was inaugurated in 2001 in the area of Palmilla, with a strategic location in the heart of the Colchagua Valley and in the middle of the Road of the Wine.

Designed by architect Claudio White, their geometric style and contemporary combines steel, asbestos cement, which evokes wood and concrete volumes to the view, integrating harmoniously with the environment.

Winemaker Head

Johana Pereira

Winemaker with more than 15 years of experience in the Valley of Colchagua, joined the team of Viña Estampa 2013. Since he came, his passion and professionalism have been key to raising the quality of the wines. Is convinced that they have to show their origin and that the fruit should never lose prominence.
“My contribution and commitment passes through the learning of the particular characteristics of each terroir that has the Gonzalez Family to lead and the right techniques with the goal of creating wines with a strong character on each line, and unique in their style.”

Agricultural Manager

Rodrigo Salgado

Agronomist and Winemaker of the University of Chile, with a Master's degree in Business and Administration (MBA) conducted at the university Federico Santa Maria.
In September of 2017 joins the team of mark as Agricultural Manager responsible for the area of technical and administrative 400 hectares located in the Colchagua Valley, having as a goal to achieve in a work of excellence through the passion, experience and knowledge.

Terroir

Picture stands out for being one of the pioneering projects that arises from the connotadas sub areas of Walls and Marchigüe, coming to life to the eaves of the counseling exclusive in Chile that have been displayed to the long-term work of vineyards, respecting mowing, driving, health and life of plants. All of this built in carry Estampa towards a more sustainable production.

Colchagua

The Colchagua Valley is one of the areas most popular wine of the country, and it is the earth that welcomes Viña Estampa. Located in the VI region of Chile, with a pleasant mediterranean climate, the wines that has delivered this valley have earned her worldwide recognition. Within the territory, have been successfully explored different areas and strains, demonstrating its transversality.
In 2005, the Colchagua Valley was awarded by a recognized media as the “Best Wine Region in the World.”

Viña Estampa owns more than 400 hectares of vineyards with irrigation tech in the three origins of the Colchagua Valley: Palmilla, Paredones and Marchigüe. Each one has a terroir particular that confers unique characteristics of our wines.

Viñedos Marchigüe

The influence of cold on the coast makes the period of maturation is slower, favoring the intensity of the aromas and character of the wines. Within the vineyard there is a great variability of soils: there are areas with a greater presence of granite, stepping stones in the process of mineralization and quartz; the other with red bumps and high presence of iron. The textures of sand, mixed with various proportions of clay in the profile.

The soils are granitic, with the presence of rocks in the process of decomposition and mineralization.
A great variability exists among the various sectors of the vineyard. If in some abounds granite and small gravel of quartz, in other textures are more sandy mixed with various proportions of clay.
