Cabernet Sauvignon 18%

Lacruz de los Andes is an old symbol of the ancient Andean cultures representing the union between the Earth and the Sun, the Low and the High, the Human and the Divine.
The name of this wine: “Lacruz” refers to the mix between the goodness of Mother Nature and the dedicated work of man - essential for making an exceptional wine
.

Lacruz is an assemblage of three different grape varietals: Carmenère is dominant in this wine followed by the contribution of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. All of the grapes come from our vineyards of Marchigüe in the Colchagua Valley, an exceptional terroir with unique, poor, granitic soils. The coastal influence on the micro-climate gives special conditions that are a treasure for growing vines.

Wine with an intense red colour, very bright, fresh, fruity aromas with great evolution and well balanced with oak. The oak is not overly noticeable but provides a pleasant toasty flavour, accentuates the ripe fruits and spices. This is an excellent medium-full bodied wine with outstanding balance, firm tannins and complex flavours. After just one year since bottled, the wine is already showing its potential and provides a juicy, rich finish and accompanies any moment.
